“The God of Small Things” AW23 soundtrack

We have been collaborating with Apart for the soundtracks of our shows since the beginning of the project. For the AW23 season, titled 'The God of Small Things,' Joana collected videos of her grandmother, Maria, talking about her grandfather's roses and engaging in casual conversations that represent their daily interactions.

Below is one of those videos, where Grandma Maria shows Joana one of her grandfather's favorite types of roses, whispering as if it were a secret.

These videos were filmed in the past, some even before the creation of BÉHEN. Joana began recording them to preserve her grandmother Maria's stories about the family. Through these conversations, a wealth of knowledge was shared, encompassing old traditions, love, sad tales, and plenty of gossip.

This particular video holds a special place in Joana's family archive. You may already recognize the heart with the small key, which serves as the logo embroidered on some of our core collection pieces.
